INCANDESCENT TALES In the fall of 2019 I recorded my first CD at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. I am very excited as this is my first full-length of traditional to contemporary music for the flute. This project of Indigenous Classical music is funded by the Canada Council for the Arts Short-term projects in Creating, Knowing and Sharing and Calgary Arts Development ArtShare program.
My collaborators are Beverley McKiver on piano and Laura Vinson as producer. Karen Shepherd was a guest on the CD as well. Adriana Contreras did the album design and album artwork is by Elijah Wells.
"Inni" was an official Fairy Tales Film Festival 2020 Selection and nominated for World/Cultural Recording of the year and Prophets of Music Emerging Artist Award for the 2021 YYC Music Awards. It is also nominated for a Native American Music Award (2021)
